Where to Stay

We do not have a room block anywhere and so we can only provide our recommendations. There are many hotels on Madeira, many with amazing views and an equally wonderful breakfast, across various price points. The only thing we would advise against is staying in the city center. Instead, you're better off sticking close to the water.

Lodging Options

Hotel Baia Azul

About 1 mile from Reid's Palace, this hotel is a really good deal. Xuyen stayed here previously - breakfast is amazing, views are awesome and close to many other things.

The Cliff Bay Hotel

Very bougie, very nice. Right next to the wedding venue (about a 6 minute walk). A great option for those looking to splurge a little.

Quinta Da Penha de Franca

Not far from our wedding venue and walkable to the old part of town. I cannot personally attest to this, but if we were on a budget, we would definitely consider this.

Pestana Carlton Madeira

Very close to the wedding venue and beautiful views. We have put our family here.
